Aero-News Quote Of The Day (01.02.04)

Aero-News: Quote of the Day

ANN's Quote of the Day usually derives from current news, though we reserve the right to pick quotes out of history that have a bearing on the day's events and issues.

Sometimes, you'll find them timely and in keeping with the content of the day's news... and sometimes, they'll just be thought-provoking.

Reader suggestions and comments are welcome... and if particularly intriguing, timely, or poignant, may themselves become future Quotes of the Day.

Let us hear from you, folks!

Aero-News Quote of the Day

"Thanks to many of you who have supported me and my adventures throughout the years. This was definitely one to beat all. I hope you could feel the positive energy that beamed to the whole planet as we glided over our shared planet.

Love to all, Laurel "

Source: STS-107 Astronaut, Laurel Clark, in a lovely January 2003 e-mail from the flight deck of NASA Orbiter Columbia, just days before she lost her life in the destruction of the vehicle during re-entry. Clark and her crew-mates were recognized by ANN as some of the major News-Makers of 2003... an honor we wish we could have bestowed on them without their tragic loss.
