Plane With Actor Charlie Sheen Aboard Required To Land

Authorities Searched For Drugs, But Nothing Found

A private airplane with actor Charlie Sheen on board en route to from Mexico to Los Angeles, CA was required to land in San Diego for a drug inspection, but customs agents came up empty.

MSN Entertainment reports on their website that Sheen got off the plane at Brown Field Airport as instructed while the plane was searched. All of the baggage was taken off the plane and inspected by drug-sniffing dogs. While a dog did alert on one of the bags, it was not found to contain any illegal narcotics.

Sheen was described as "hammered" by a source giving information to Radar Online, which posted pictures of the incident.

Sheen was allowed to reboard the plane and continue on to Los Angeles after nothing was found on him or in any of the luggage, according to the source.

Sheen has reportedly purchased a "modest" home in Rosarito, Mexico, and plans to move there full time according to a report last year in the U.K. newspaper The Daily Mail.
