Jorgensen Air Service Opens At OLM

Revamped FBO Includes New Pilots Lounge

Jorgensen Air Service (JAS) recently opened a full-service fixed base operator and flight school at Olympia Regional Airport (KOLM) in Washington State.

Debbie and Gary Jorgensen, who also own Jorgensen Construction Company in Pacific, WA, purchased the old Gower Flying Service facilities at KOLM and have begun a complete renovation of the premises. Work has been completed on a new conference room, as well as a new ground-training classroom and dedicated weather briefing area.

A new pilot's lounge rounds out improvements already made to the facility, according to the Jorgensens. The ramp area has been recently repaved, and renovation of the building's exterior is scheduled to begin in early spring.

Jorgensen Air offers 100LL/JetA fuel service, and fixed wing and helicopter flight training as well as ground school. Charter and scenic flights, aircraft maintenance and catering also are available.

Rotary wing training is conducted in the Robinson R22, and fixed wing training in the Cessna 152. Owner/manager Debbie Jorgensen plans to add the Cessna 172 and the Schweitzer 300C IFR helicopter to the flight training operation.
