Cunningham Acquires Avflight Mesa Corp Assets

Becomes Only Full-Service FBO At Falcon Field

Cunningham Aviation announced the acquisition of the assets of Avflight Mesa Corporation to become the exclusive full-service FBO at Falcon Field Airport (KFFZ) in Mesa, Arizona. The move expands the company’s service capabilities and enhances its operational efficiency.

The acquisition combines all FBO operations on the field under the Cunningham brand to provide customers a consistent and streamlined experience, from ramp service to fueling and front desk assistance.

The retention of experienced employees from Avflight Mesa further eases the transition and strengthens line service and administrative functions while ensuring excellent service for all customer interactions.

George Cunningham, President of Cunningham Aviation said, “We’re excited to bring the Avflight Mesa operation into the Cunningham Aviation family. This asset acquisition is an important milestone that allows us to better serve the needs of the growing general aviation community at Falcon Field while preserving the personalized service that defines our family-owned business.”

An essential element of the integration is that Cunningham will transition to Avfuel as its new fuel supplier. This will provide national brand recognition, pricing incentives, and expand fuel programs.

Externally, the ramp space has doubled to increase capacity for both based and transient aircraft with additional parking, faster turns, and expanded resources.

Cameron Loftis, FBO Director at Cunningham Aviation said, “We’re not just expanding our footprint—we’re investing in people, technology, and partnerships that elevate the customer experience. Our new X-1FBO point-of-sale system will streamline operations and enhance transparency for our customers, and our expanded team is ready to deliver top-tier service across the board.”

Cunningham is a family-owned premier FBO that is known for its hospitality-driven culture and personalized services. It provides the full range of general aviation services including Jet-A and Avgas fueling, premium ramp and hangar space, aircraft handling, and concierge support. Cunningham Aviation recently joined the Paragon Network of FBOs.
