Construction Begins On New Million Air Dallas Ramp

International Ramp Will Enhance Customer And Operator Experience

Million Air Dallas and Jacob White Construction announced the ground breaking for a new ramp at Addison Airport (KADS) in Dallas, Texas.

The new international ramp will cover about three acres and connect a Million Air ramp with the existing U.S. Customs ramp. This will expedite Customs clearance and increase the capacity for servicing international travelers. It will also facilitate travelers’ access to the Million Air FBO offerings adjacent to Customs as well as enable exclusive ramp-side vehicle access for ground transportation to nearby hotels, restaurants, and other attractions.

International operators will also benefit from eliminating an engine cycle since the aircraft can taxi right to the Customs facility and after that service is finished, the aircraft will be towed from the Customs area and moved to a specified hangar or prepared for turnaround.

Don Rickerhauser, President and CEO of Million Air Dallas, emphasized the importance of the company's partnerships: “Our strong relationships with Addison Airport Management and U.S. Customs and Border Protection are vital. We are proud to contribute to the exceptional value the airport brings to the Addison community through this shared goal.”

The ramp is scheduled to be completed in September and will open immediately.
