Yingling Completes First Falcon 900 Winglet Installation

Finished Ahead Of Schedule, Precision Mod Work Praised By Trainer

Yingling Aviation announced it has successfully completed its first winglet installation as Yingling on a Dassault Falcon 900. The project was finished ahead of schedule and according to trainer Harley Howell of Aviation Partners, who supervised the work, the execution was flawless and Yingling’s experienced sheet metal team delivered a precise structural modification.

The project included reinforcing ribs and a 12-foot strap install along each wing. Each rivet had to be flawless with no room for error. Howell praised the execution saying there were no mis-drilled holes, zero engineering changes, and exceptional attention to the engineering drawings.

The crew who performed the install has previously done dozens of winglet installations but this was the first under Yingling’s banner.

Kyle Janssen, Yingling’s Project Lead who was brought onsite from our mobile response team for the install, praised the crew, saying, “I was extremely impressed by our sheetmetal team’s skill and attitude. Even with overtime needed to hit key milestones, everyone stayed positive and focused on the goal.”

Rodger Renaud, Chief Operating Officer said, "This was an extremely complicated install that required some of the best techs in the industry. They delivered it on time and on budget."

Yingling gave great credit to their sheetmetal team for their depth of experience, professionalism, and willingness to go the  extra mile. The company is very pleased to have the talent and capacity on the team to deliver solid results in a timely manner.

Gary Dunn, President of Aviation Partners, the vendor partner, visited the facility to review the work. He said, "I was impressed with the facility and all the growth. I met the team, they were great, and I’m excited to have an installation partner that can execute at this level."
