The FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 requires all flying sites within controlled airspace to have a letter of agreement (LOA) with air traffic control (ATC) facilities. AMA is working directly with the FAA to prioritize this work and ensure that you have the protections you need to continue to fly. However, we need some additional information to accomplish this. The FAA has issued a Special Airworthiness Information Bulletin (SAIB) to alert aircraft owners and operators with installations of certain ACR Electronics, Inc.
