Airborne-Unmanned 03.05.19: B4UFLY Update, DJI Geofencing Update, Tigershark XP3

The FAA has partnered with Kittyhawk to redevelop B4UFLY to further their safety mission and create a new and improved mobile application to help recreational drone operators learn where they can and can't fly. The project is being done at no cost to the FAA. The B4UFLY App will continue to be available to the public until the new App is deployed. The data will continue to be updated but no new features will be added. The FAA has certified a a new glass cockpit upgrade for the Bell 212 helicopter, available for both VFR and IFR operations developed by StandardAero. The upgrade features proven Universal Avionics EFI-890H Advanced Flight Displays which can be integrated with legacy Honeywell and Bell autopilot systems. The first installation of this new Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) was accomplished in cooperation with leading Bell Customer Service Facility, Alpine Aerotech, and their launch customer.
