Airforms, Inc. Awarded FAA PMA Approvals

Baffle Kits Now Available For Mooney M20J

The FAA has awarded PMA approval to Airforms for engine baffle kits fo the Mooney M20J. The newly approved components join Airforms’ engine baffle product line covering more than 60 applicable aircraft models. The baffles are eligible for installation on all Mooney M20J aircraft, serial numbers 24-0001 through 24-1623, and 24-1632 through 24-3431. Airforms’ engineering department received the new PMA’s (Part Manufacturing Approvals) recently through its continued work with the FAA Anchorage ACO (Aircraft Certification Office).

“The Mooney M20J model has proven to be hugely popular, due to its exceptional performance and low operating costs,” said Steve Hunter, Airforms’ Sales and Marketing Executive. “Having received numerous requests from the Mooney community, we have responded with very high quality FAA PMA’d baffles for the M20J. These baffles will provide superior serviceability, and at a price that provides exceptional value – pricing much lower than that of OEM replacement parts.”

Airforms baffles are available with either bare metal or a durable powder coat finish. Each incorporates design reinforcements with longer lasting materials, and features reinforced Hi-Temp silicone seals fastened to the metal baffles with rivets. All baffles are FAA approved replacements for the original equipment parts, and are individually interchangeable.

Airforms is the world’s leading supplier of replacement engine baffles for a wide range of general aviation aircraft; products also include an expanding line of piston and turboprop aircraft PMA parts and STCs. Airforms maintains an FAA approved manufacturing system for PMA parts, supported by an engineering department with FAA DER staff.
