Winner In The Business Aviation Category
Dassault’s Falcon 7X was named the winner of the Business
Aviation category at the Aviation Awards Asia. The award, part of
2011 Asian Aerospace Expo, was received Wednesday by Jean-Michel
Jacob, Vice President of International Sales for Dassault
Falcon.
“The Falcon 7X is an ideal airplane for the Asian market
where it has already established a great reputation since its first
delivery in the region” said Jacob who is based in Dassault
Falcon’s Beijing office. “Asian operators fully
appreciate, not only the advanced technology of the Falcon
7X but also how that technology translates into incredible
performance and a smoother, quieter ride. Our employees will be
very proud of this award.” he added.
Award nominations were assessed by a panel of distinguished
industry professionals, taking into account individual
nominees’ merits and achievements in areas such as
innovation, customer service, the deployment of technology to
improve efficiency, safety improvements and overall business
strategy. The Aviation Awards Asia celebrates and recognizes
champions in the Asian aviation industry.
The Falcon 7X can connect Beijing with Paris and New York with
Riyadh. It can also connect Shanghai with Auckland and Seattle with
London. The Falcon 7X incorporates a digital flight control system
which provides greater control, operational safety and a smoother
flight. The aircraft also comes standard with the EASy flight deck,
which is designed to reduce pilot workload and improve pilot
interaction through elevated situational awareness in the
cockpit.
The Falcon 7X is powered by three Pratt & Whitney Canada
PW307A engines. Over 100 Falcon 7Xs have been delivered to nearly
every corner of the world since it received dual FAA and EASA
certification in 2007. Customers particularly appreciate the
high quality fit and finish and quiet of its wide body cabin since
flights over 12 hours are common place.
