Elixir Delivers First Of Twelve Aircraft To Egnatia Aviation

Flight School Receives Keys At Aero Friedrichshafen Air Show

Elixir Aircraft delivered the first of twelve Elixir ordered by Greek flight school operator Egnatia Aviation, rented through its leasing company Green Aerolease. The Elixir was flown from its production site in La Rochelle, France, to the show.

The keys were handed over to Dimitris Lymperakis, Founder and CEO of Egnatia, by Cyril Champenois, Co-founder and Head of Sales for Elixir Aircraft. In attendance at the presentation were Charles Cabillic and Guillaume Abeguile, Founder and President, and Chief Operating Officer of Green Aerolease, respectively.

Two other Elixir aircraft were on display in the same ‘school’ configuration of the Rotax 912 100 hp engine and glass cockpit. When the show closes, the aircraft will be flown to its new home at the school at the ‘Lydia’ Aerodrome (LGKM) in Kavala Amygdaleonas, Greece. Five additional aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2025 with the remaining batch of six in 2026.

Lymperakis said, “We're delighted to take delivery of our first Elixir at the Aero Friedrichshafen air show. This aircraft meets our operational needs perfectly, as it will give our cadets the same flying experience as that which awaits them in their careers as professional pilots. I would like to thank Elixir Aircraft for meeting the delivery deadline and for this magnificent livery.”

Champenois said, "This first delivery to Egnatia Aviation is an important step in the growth of Elixir Aircraft. The Elixir aircraft operated by this renowned school will train pilots for more than sixty airlines around the world. I would like to thank Egnatia Aviation for the confidence it has shown in us by renewing its fleet.”
