Raytheon Introduces STC for Hawker 700 RVSM

New STC Upgrades Altimeters for RVSM Compliance

Raytheon Aircraft Services has received an FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM) Compliant Height Keeping Equipment Solution for the Hawker 700A and 700B aircraft.

This STC upgrades existing height-keeping equipment to digital altimeters with data acquisition units to meet RVSM requirements. Aircraft flying above 29,000 feet must meet domestic RVSM requirements by Jan. 20, 2005. "We are pleased to offer Hawker 700A and 700B operators an FAA-approved STC. Our solution offers operators the most cost-effective approach to the FAA mandate," said Ed Dolanski, vice president of Raytheon Aircraft Customer Support.
