Wheels Up Launches Newest Membership Offering

Introduces 'Wheels Up Connect', A New Tier Democratizing Private Aviation

Wheels Up, the membership-based private aviation company, has announced Wheels Up Connect, the third in a growing suite of membership options. The Wheels Up Connect Membership is an entirely new access point to flying private, and is tailored for people who are looking to make their foray into private aviation, or who are looking to complement their current flight solutions.

Wheels Up Connect Members receive unlimited access to proposed Wheels Up Shared Flights, charter flight options on Wheels Up safety-vetted and verified aircraft through the Wheels Up Charter Marketplace, and limited Wheels Up Hot Flights – one-way, empty-leg flights that are posted daily for members. On-the-ground membership perks include a sought-after lifestyle platform anchored by once-in-a-lifetime events, Hot Nights from Inspirato and a complimentary FoundersCard Membership. Today, Wheels Up Connect Members pay a one-time initiation fee of $2,995, and annual dues of $2,495 (starting in year 2) to gain immediate access to their membership benefits via the Wheels Up App.

The newest membership tier adds to the current membership offerings of Wheels Up Core and Wheels Up Business, continuing the company's growth plan and vision to bring the safest and highest-quality private aviation available to the greater public and allow them to experience all the incredible in-air and on-ground experiences afforded by the membership.

Wheels Up has also released the Wheels Up Community, a new digital feature that gives all members exclusive access to communicate with one another, in order to coordinate flight sharing by discussing details for currently proposed shared flights or create new flights to share. This innovative feature allows Wheels Up Members to fly privately for less through the creation of a members-only community that will increase Shared Flight opportunities.

"We're excited to make flying private accessible to more people through our Connect Membership," said Kenny Dichter, Founder and CEO of Wheels Up. "The goal is to leverage our proprietary technology to make it as easy to book a private airplane as it is to book an Uber or Airbnb."

Since its launch in 2013, Wheels Up has seen rapid and exponential growth across all areas of its business. In just over five years, the company has expanded to serve more than 5,000 members who have access to a members-only fleet of close to 100 aircraft and a network of 1000+ Wheels Up safety-vetted and verified off-fleet aircraft.
