Women In Aerospace Launches New Website

On December 28, 2015, The Industry Came Together To Celebrate The Launch Of Women In Aerospace's New Website

WIA's new website enhances WIA's mission by bringing key information in an easily navigable form to its members, industry at large and the Government. "We launched our new website to allow our members to engage more effectively with stakeholders in the aerospace arena and to expand WIA's educational, networking and professional development opportunities." Stated Giovanna M. Cinelli, WIA Chair.

After collaborating with key leaders and members from across the industry, WIA chose a design representative of its membership and worked together to bring refined capabilities and enhanced functionality of its members.

WIA invites individuals to visit their new website and register for one of the many events scheduled for 2016, as well as to learn of other key ways to become a part of WIA. Whether it’s WIA's 6 week long Leadership Institute, "The Essentials of Leadership", one of their professional development webinars, or their upcoming event on February 25th, "Senior Leaders 2016 Budget Discussion", WIA enjoys a reputation for bringing its members high quality and relevant programming and networking opportunities.

WIA is dedicated to expanding women's opportunities for leadership and increasing their visibility in the aerospace community. Their membership - women and men - shares an interest on a broad spectrum of aerospace issues, including human space flight, aviation, remote sensing, satellite communications, robotic space exploration, and the policy issues surrounding these fields.
