Concorde Battery’s Phenom 100 STC Receives Brazilian Validation

Replaces OEM Lead Acid Design

Concorde is pleased to announce that the popular Embraer 500 (Phenom 100) FAA approved STC SA01633WI has received ANAC validation in Brazil.

SA01633WI replaces the existing lead acid batteries with two of Concorde’s popular RG-390E, 28 AH sealed lead acid, Recombinant Gas (RG), Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) batteries. The RG-390E is original equipment on many corporate aircraft with excellent cranking power and proven reliability. Concorde’s superior performance is the result of unique design features such as proprietary PolyGuard separators that prevent shorting, robust over the top intercell connections that minimize internal resistance, handcrafted manufacturing, and meticulous quality control. Concorde batteries have been proven reliable, durable and safe for over 30 years.

RG-390E is a plug in replacement for the OE lead acid. No modification to the aircraft is required.

Concorde designs and manufactures over 90 models of Original Equipment and direct replacement batteries for fixed wing and rotary aircraft. They are installed as original Equipment by the majority of aircraft manufactures and adopted by military aircraft operators worldwide.
