Bombardier Commercial Aircraft Appoints Colin Bole For Leadership Role

Becomes New Senior Vice President, Sales And Asset Management

Bombardier Commercial Aircraft has appointed Colin Bole as its new Senior Vice President, Sales and Asset Management, effective mid-May, 2015.

"Colin is an authority on worldwide commercial aircraft markets and brings with him superior marketing and sales expertise," said Fred Cromer, President, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft. "His vast experience at the most senior levels within both leasing companies and a major aircraft manufacturer, has enabled him to master airline strategy, aircraft negotiations and transactions, and the complex dynamics of relationship management. His insights on how customers make critical decisions about their aircraft portfolios are exactly what we need to develop the right sales and marketing campaigns to win in all our market segments."

Prior to joining Bombardier, Mr. Bole was Chief Commercial Officer at Intrepid Aviation, a leasing company, and spent four years at International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) where he was successively Senior Vice President & Head, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Head of Asia-Pacific. Earlier in his career, he held various executive positions in marketing such as Executive Vice President and Head, Marketing, Macquarie AirFinance, Managing Director & Head, Marketing, as well as Vice President, Marketing, GATX Air, Technical Marketing Manager and Regional Sales Director, Airbus. He holds a Master of Science in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering both from Stanford University.
