GAA Board to Announce CFI, Technician, and FAAST Team Reps at Oshkosh

The General Aviation Awards Board of Directors is set to meet to present its roster of recipients at this year's EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

The team will hold a ceremony on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the FAA Aviation Safety Center, with an announcement by Acting FAA Administrator Billy Nolen. After his remarks at a "Meet the Administrator" event, the GAA's board will recognize its 2023 honorees: Robert Raskey, National Flight Instructor; William Ross, National Aviation Technician; and Dennis Miller, National FAASTeam Representative.

“It is an honor to announce the names of the 2023 General Aviation Awards National Honorees” says GA Awards Board Chair Sandya Narayanswami, “These important, historic awards highlight the critical role played by accomplished individuals in building a culture solidly based on aviation safety and education,” she added, “The Board and our many sponsors are pleased that these outstanding aviation professionals will receive public recognition before their peers at AirVenture.”
