Full Lineup of Oxygen Equipment and Seminar Presentation
Aerox Aviation Oxygen Systems, headquartered in Bonita Springs, Florida, announced recently that it will be at the upcoming EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2024 with a display of its complete product line of aviation oxygen equipment.
The company’s offerings include portable oxygen systems, oxygen masks, and ground support systems.
The company will highlight two new products at Oshkosh: The Aerox Cylinder Sentinel is an accessory to all Aerox Portable Oxygen Systems. It attaches to the cylinder with a T-fitting so the manual pressure gauge can also be attached. The Sentinel tracks the O2 pressure in the cylinder and displays pressure and battery indications on a mobile device through a wireless connection. Both iOS and Android devices are supported.
The Boomula is what it sounds like: a headset-mounted oxygen cannula in a rigid boom similar to the microphone boom. The universal attachment mounts to any headset and has a swivel for easy adjustment. It keeps the supply tubing out of the way so there’s no getting it tangled in the seatbelt/shoulder harness straps. The Boomula works with any continuous flow portable or installed oxygen system.
In addition to the new products, Aerox will again provide free oxygen refills as long as the supply lasts. Also, Scott Ashton, Aerox President, CFII, and FAAST team representative, will present an interactive seminar on using oxygen in aviation. The presentation is a practical discussion of the benefits of having oxygen on board regardless of whether you’re flying in the mountains or not. The title of the seminar is “Impaired Above 8,000 Feet? Hypoxia and O2” and will be presented Tuesday July 23, 2:30 p.m., at the Forum Stage 1: WILCO.
