Daher Inaugurates Third Tech Center

Center Of Excellence To Accelerate Innovation

Aerospace manufacturer Daher announced the inauguration of the third of its technology centers in France, named Fly’in, that will focus on sustainable aviation. It is located at the Tarbes-Lourdes- Pyrénées Airport (IATA: LDE, ICAO: LFBT) in southwestern France, and reaffirms Daher’s commitment to environmentally friendly aviation.

Fly’in at Tarbes completes Daher’s establishment of three technology centers in France, with each being dedicated to a strategic expertise. It joins Log’in facility at Toulouse which focuses on industrial logistics and the Shap’in at Nantes dedicated to advanced aerostructures.

The three innovation centers demonstrate Daher’s vision to transform its activities while addressing future technological and environmental challenges. The initiatives are supported by the French government and the EU under the France 2030 program, as well as the Occitanie and Pays de la Loire regions.

Through Fly’in, Daher intends to strengthen the economic and industrial attractiveness of the region by establishing partnerships with academic, industrial, and institutional players. Beyond accelerating innovation, the center will contribute to skills development and future professional jobs.

Didier Kayat, the Chairman & CEO of Daher said, "Fly'in perfectly illustrates Daher's efforts to innovate and collaborate for more sustainable aviation, which is aligned with our corporate purpose. This technology center embodies the vision of a future where technology and environmental responsibility go hand in hand."
