StandardAero And Associated Air Center Highlight Capabilities, New Authorization

Showcasing Overhaul And Repair Services At EBACE In Geneva

StandardAero and Associated Air Center (AAC), the company's business unit responsible for the maintenance and modification of large transport aircraft, are highlighting an extensive array of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and completion capabilities and services at this year's EBACE show in Geneva, Switzerland.

"Despite a very challenging year for general aviation markets everywhere, StandardAero performed well and as a result, comes to EBACE with an array of enhanced offerings for the business aviation community," said StandardAero president & CEO, Rob Mionis. "Improvements throughout our AAC business have resulted in faster delivery throughputs for our large transport aircraft customers. And our turnaround efforts within our business aviation sector have produced a host of achievements ranging from industry-leading engine MRO turn times, to new cost assistance programs, to recognized operational excellence in our safety management systems. We've had a busy year and want to share with our European customer's the fruits of our labor."

Underscoring its growing significance in the European market, the company recently renewed its General Conditions (GC) agreement with Airbus relating to the design, development and supply of converted Airbus aircraft. Since first becoming an Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ) Completion and Service Centers, AAC has performed 14 ACJ completions for head of state and VIP clients based in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and the United States.

"For nearly 100 years, StandardAero has been recognized as a leader in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of business aviation aircraft and as a Tier 1 transport-category completion center," said Jack Lawless, Chief Operating Officer, Standard Aero and President, Associated Air Center. "We want to offer the benefits of our services and experience by leveraging our turnkey maintenance and service capabilities to business aircraft operators and maintenance directors throughout the globe."

Since last year's EBACE show, the company has been renewed by Dassault as a Falcon Authorized Service Center at its four primary business aviation locations in the U.S. It has also received Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) allowing the company to approve design data, tests, and analyses, as well as make findings of compliance to the regulations, allowing the company to sign STCs on behalf of the FAA for aircraft alterations.

"StandardAero is actively partnering with service centers around the world to support their engineering and FAA and EASA certification efforts in bringing newer, safer technology to the legacy fleet," said Scott Taylor, Senior Vice President of Business Aviation at StandardAero.
