Aero-News: Quote of the Day (11.04.18)

Aero-News: Quote of the Day

ANN's Quote of the Day usually derives from current news, though we reserve the right to pick quotes out of history that have a bearing on the day's events and issues.

Sometimes, you'll find them timely and in keeping with the content of the day's news... and sometimes, they'll just be thought-provoking.

Reader suggestions and comments are welcome... and if particularly intriguing, timely, or poignant, may themselves become future Quotes of the Day.

Let us hear from you, folks!

Aero-News Quote of the Day

“Through United’s generous donation, DC students will now have the opportunity to get up close and personal with aviation and experience all it has to offer first-hand. We are so thankful to United for giving students the chance to experience such things as sit in the cockpit of an airliner, experience behind-the-scenes airport operations, and meet people just like them who pursued a path in aviation.”

Source:  Yvette Rose, president of the Aero Club Foundation of Washington, who received a generous donation from United Airlines in support of the Foundation’s mission to foster interest in the principles and development of aviation, aeronautics and the science of aerodynamics at public and charter schools in the District of Columbia.
