EasyJet French Cabin Crews To Stage Two-Day Walkout

Labor Action Will Begin Christmas Day At Midnight, But No Passengers Will Be Affected Until Boxing Day

French cabin crews for EasyJet have announced that they will hold a two-day strike beginning at midnight local time on Christmas Day.

Buying Business Travel reports that since the airline does not fly on Christmas day, no passengers will be affected on the first day of the strike. But the airline has already cancelled some flights for Boxing Day ... the day after Christmas.

The strike is planned to run through December 26th at 2359 local time.

The airline's website says it is "strongly recommended" that passengers planning to fly to and from France on EasyJet on December 26th check their flight's status before going to the airport. "Easyjet will do everything possible to minimise the impact of the strike on its passengers which is why the airline has taken the decision to proactively cancel some flights on 26 December as a measure of precaution,  to allow passengers to re-organise their travel plans for the Christmas holidays," the airline said in a statement.
