Custom Avionics Acquired By Bloomington Corporate Holdings

Expands The Capabilities Of Custom Avionics Including ADS-B Solutions

Orlando, FL-based Bloomington Corporate Holdings has acquired Custom Avionics in Bartow, Florida. Custom Avionics is a provider of avionics and custom panel solutions for general aviation aircraft.

The Custom Avionics business will be operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bloomington Corporate Holdings.

The addition of Custom Avionics with our other two companies, FlightWeight Americas and Aviation International, supports our goal of providing customers with a full suite of products and solutions for the commercial and general aviation communities.  The acquisition extends the capabilities of Custom Avionics including ADS-B solutions:

  • Avidyne
  • Garmin
  • L-3
  • S-tec
  • Free Flight
  • Aspen

Custom Avionics is a long-time Independent certified FAA Repair Station with extensive industry expertise.

Their solutions, in addition to the ADS-B product suite, focus on sales, installations, certifications, repairs, troubleshooting and custom panels

The news owners say the acquisition "provides increased value to our group with expanded platform support for our aerospace and defense customers. We are focused on improved productivity and expanded capabilities.

"Custom Avionics will continue to provide superior support to its customers.  "We would like to assure customers and partners that Custom Avionics products and services will continue to be available, as well as be supported, and we have worked closely with Custom Avionics staff to maintain business as usual operations," they said in a news release.
