Abante Joins Air Charter Safety Foundation

QM Coaching Firm Focuses On Fixed- And Rotary-Wing Operators, Airports

The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) is pleased to announce that Abante, a "holistic and practical safety and quality management coaching firm," and authors of the iSMS software tool, is the newest company to join the ACSF. Along with 110 other companies, Abante proudly supports the ACSF’s vision to enable on-demand air charter providers and fractional program managers to achieve the highest levels of safety in the aviation industry.

“As a new member, we share our deep passion for safety along with that demonstrated by the ACSF and its member organizations,” said Gary Grass, President of Abante. “We are excited and humbled to have the support of the ACSF in our commitment to safety and quality management systems.”

Abante coaches all levels of practical SMS and QMS competency to fixed- and rotary-wing air operators, airports, and third-party consumers of air services.  During the past 25 years, Abante consultants have helped evaluate, design, implement, and operate safety and quality management systems in a variety of unique operating environments around the world.

“Abante believes that safety above and beyond what is considered regulatory is an absolute core value for their company,” noted ACSF President Bryan Burns. “We are pleased to welcome them as foundation members.”

ACSF has developed the industry audit standard, an all-inclusive audit tailored for Part 135 and 91K operators that acts as a detailed gap analysis of an operator’s management practices. The audit program consists of a thorough review of an operator’s processes and procedures, regulatory compliance, and the operator’s implementation of and adherence to a safety management system (SMS).
