Milestone Event: 15th Annual Midwest LSA Expo

2023 Expo Dates Are Set For September 7th – 9th, 2023

Chris Collins and the folks who present the MidWest LSA Expo each year are inviting one and all to join them at the 15th Annual Midwest LSA Expo, held annually at the Mt. Vernon Outland Airport (KMVN) in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

With all segments of aviation welcome, the Midwest LSA Expo remains focused on its designed goal, and that is to showcase ALL things Light Aviation. A show known for its hospitality, charm, and always aircraft sales, the intent for the 15th annual show is simply to add more to all the aforementioned! The Midwest LSA Expo will remain the same “hometown-feel show”, you will just have more goods, services, and activities to enjoy! To this end, Midwest LSA Expo has partnered with sport aviation show specialist, Jana Filip. Ms. Filip will be concentrating on new and returning exhibitors, increased promotions, along with more media presence, and a tremendously enhanced attendee experience.

ANN visited the event for the first time in 2022 and was impressed by the friendly atmosphere, access to flying facilities, as well as the facilities themselves and the overall layout of the event.

“I am very proud of what Midwest LSA Expo has done to promote the light aviation industry over the years. However, there is always room for improvement and that is where we are headed. I am excited Jana has joined the Midwest Team and will help us make the 2023 Expo an even better experience this special 15 th anniversary year.” Chris Collins, Midwest LSA Expo

Midwest Expo will feature the best of the best in the sport aircraft communities to include Light Sport Aircraft, ultralights, kit planes, powered parachutes, powered paragliders, trikes, gyros, amphibians and more! Ms. Filip will be concentrating on the addition of avionics, engines, propellers, aircraft supplies and pilot gear for the shopping enjoyment of the aviation enthusiast.

Forums, workshops, and keynote speakers are also being organized, and again this year demo flights will be available all day, every day for those shopping for a new aircraft.

Expo boasts free admission, free parking, and free camping. And to look at the vast array of exquisite offerings from the light sport aviation community at the Midwest LSA Expo is free too!

Exhibitor Registration will be forthcoming soon, and they plan to also keep you apprised of developing news via the website and Facebook as they roll forward towards the 15th annual Midwest LSA Expo. Midwest Expo 2023, by the way, will indeed be a must-go-to event as it’s currently the only show of its kind in the US.
