Mexico, India Certify Embraer's Phenom Executive Jets

Phenom 300 Now Certified In 40 countries

Embraer said at the NBAA annual Meeting and Convention in Las Vegas that it has recently received certification for the Phenom 300 light executive jet to operate in Mexico and India, and the Phenom 100 entry level jet to operate in the Ukraine. Last month, the company also received FAA certification for the optional belted lavatory seat for the Phenom 300, an option that has been widely requested by customers.

Phenom 100, 300

The Phenom 300 was first certified in December 2009 by Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) and the FAA, and is now certified in more than 40 countries, including Indonesia, Australia, Denmark, France, Morocco, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates.

Embraer say the clean-sheet design has allowed it to couple the best in available technology with superior design. An intelligent cabin developed in conjunction with BMW Group DesignworksUSA features an Ovalite(r) cabin design with more leg and head room for up to 11 occupants, and the largest galley, windows and cockpit in its class. Functional aesthetics extend to the cockpit, thanks to large displays and a Prodigy flight deck, including an optional synthetic vision system (SVS). A single refueling port, an externally serviced lavatory, and excellent cabin pressurization are some of the jet's other distinctive features.
