Cessna Offers New Seat Options For Caravan

Passengers Get Better View, Added Functionality

Current Caravan owners now have the opportunity to upgrade their Caravan seating exclusively through Cessna's network of more than 300 authorized service facilities. Cessna  announced Monday it's begun offering new seat options for its existing fleet of Caravans.

"The new seats offer added comfort and seat functionality for passengers compared to the factory-installed seats. The seat height will allow passengers a better view. They also include optional tray tables, forward and aft tracking, adjustable headrests, retractable armrests and the ability to recline," said Peter Wilkinson, Cessna's vice president of Cessna's Parts Distribution.

Cessna will deliver its 2,000th Caravan, a Grand Caravan, later this year to a  retail customer through Cessna authorized sales representative, Africair, Inc., located in Miami, FL. The Caravan is certified in 100 countries and the fleet has amassed more than 12.9 million flight hours.
