Airborne 10.23.12: EAA Prez Resigns, Preparing For NBAA2012, myWingMan Debuts

We heard Monday morning that something "huge" was in the works... but this is hardly what we and many at EAA expected... ANN has confirmed that the EAA Board of Directors accepted the resignation of President and CEO Rod Hightower early Monday.

Jack Pelton, recently retired Chairman, president and CEO of Cessna Aircraft, has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of EAA. In his role as EAA Chair, Pelton will guide the organization through the leadership transition. Bendix/King's myWingMan application is now available for download from the Apple iTunes Store. Bendix/King developed myWingMan, a flight-planning and inflight navigation support app, 'to simplify operations and push the boundaries of tablet computer use in the cockpit.
