Freeman Acquires Texas Aero At Waco Regional Airport

Strategic Expansion Of Premium FBO Facilities

Freeman Holdings Group announced it has acquired Texas Aero at Waco Regional Airport (KACT) in Texas, signifying another step in the strategic expansion of its national network of premium FBO facilities.

The purchase, which became effective on October 30, 2025, includes the Texas Aero full-service FBO that will be rebranded as Freeman Jet Center – Waco. Texas Aero Jet Sales will continue operating independently under its existing ownership.

Freeman Holdings Group’s FBO portfolio now expands to 24 locations following this acquisition. The company further enhanced its footprint in Texas after adding locations at Lubbock and Abilene earlier this year.

Scott Freeman, CEO of Freeman Holdings Group said, “We enthusiastically welcome the Texas Aero team into the Freeman Holdings Group family. Texas Aero has built a strong reputation in the Waco aviation community for its service excellence and customer focus. By adding this established location to our network, we continue our commitment to providing outstanding FBO experiences across the Lone Star State and beyond.”

Under its new ownership, Freeman Jet Center – Waco, will retain Texas Aero’s experienced FBO staff to ensure continuity of service for its customers. New equipment will be coming to the facility to modernize and further elevate the operational efficiency and customer satisfaction of the facility.

Freeman Holdings also plans to add a new hangar in alignment with its forward-looking infrastructure plans to expand the facility’s capacity for both based and transient aircraft.

In the meantime, Freeman Jet Center’s participation in the Avfuel network means the FBO will continue offering customers the benefits of AVTRIP pilot loyalty rewards, competitive fuel prices with Avfuel Contract Fuel, and ease of transactions with the Avfuel Pro Card that enables pilots and operators to bundle fuel and non-fuel purchases into one payment.
