Because We're Professionals: ANN's Sun 'n Fun Coverage Will Be Thorough

The Good, The Bad, and The Airworthy... We'll Get It All!

We're going to Sun 'n Fun this year, as every year, to bring you the news of what's going on, what's the latest, what's fun, and what's good about our industry/sport/hobby. We're professional journalists; that's what we do.

We promise some remarkable photography, some great coverage, and certainly some wonderful surprises.

Our team will undertake some top-notch reporting, some great listening, and will do what a crack news team is supposed to do -- report the news at a major (if declining) event, and all the rest of the news that matters to attendees and non-attendees, alike.

Don't worry: We'll keep you up to date on what's happening outside of Lakeland, Florida, as well; but, hey, the show's in our back yard!

Expect coverage from Editor-in-Chief Jim Campbell, as well. Just because he's been (illegally) banned from the Sun 'n Fun grounds in an apparent attempt to muzzle his coverage of safety and other issues, doesn't mean that he won't be intimately involved with the show's goings-on (even though this nonsense has gotten so out of control that Sun 'n Fun won't even let him cross to the FAA building - in apparent violation of Federal Law!). Jim's a better test and evaluation pilot than any other publication has [as we've been told by experts], and he'll be wringing information out of a number of ships, just outside of the DMZ that surrounds Lakeland.

We're going to have a great time all week, and you're going to hear and see all about it.

Why?

Because we're professionals -- and because, all the official stupidity aside, it's absolutely our responsibility to be there until something more important comes along -- which should happen by 2008. More info to follow... VERY shortly.
