Stone Confirmed At TSA, GAMA Applauds

The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) applauded the Senate's confirmation of Admiral David M. Stone as Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration.

"We are very pleased that Admiral Stone has been confirmed,” said GAMA President and CEO, Ed Bolen.

“We have worked closely with Admiral Stone in his previous TSA positions as Acting Administrator and Deputy Chief of Staff, and we look forward to continuing our working relationship with him. He has made stakeholder relations and outreach a priority at TSA, and I know these qualities will continue to serve him well.”

GAMA is an international trade association headquartered in Washington, DC representing over 50 of the world's leading manufacturers of general aviation aircraft, engines, avionics and related equipment. GAMA's members also operate fleets of aircraft, fixed based operations, and pilot training and maintenance training facilities.
