CAF Initiative Supports Veteran Non-Profits

Organizations Providing Resources For Vets And Families

The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) announced a new program to support non-profit organizations that provide critical resources for veterans and their families. The support will be in the form of comprehensive advertising packages to strengthen their message and connect them with CAF’s extensive network of members, followers, and subscribers.

David Oliver, President/CEO of CAF said, “The CAF, while focused on preserving the legacy of the World War II generation, recognizes the challenges faced by today’s active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. Through this program, the CAF aims to leverage its reach to highlight organizations providing critical support to those who continue the tradition of service to our country.”

The advertising package provides:

  • A feature story on the CAF website
  • Inclusion in the CAF eNewsletter
  • Dedicated social media postings
  • One quarter-page ad in the official CAF magazine, The Dispatch

The CAF plans to initially select at least five non-profit organizations to showcase in 2025. Interested organizations can visit the CAF website for more information or to apply.

Also, CAF members and supporters are encouraged to recommend organizations by contacting the CAF Media Team.

Jim Lasche, Chief Aviation Officer at the CAF and a U.S. Air Force veteran said, “This program is an extension of our mission to honor those who fought for our freedoms and to support the ongoing legacy of service. As someone who regularly speaks with veterans involved in our work as pilots, mechanics, and engineers, I know how impactful these organizations can be. This is a way for us to give back and ensure veterans and their families can access resources for financial or emotional support.”
