FlightSafety International said Tuesday that Kelly Allender and Paul Kuchta have been promoted from within the organization

Kelly is now Assistant Manager of the company’s Cessna Learning Center in Wichita, Kansas. Allender joined FlightSafety in 2001, and most recently served as Director of Programs at the Wichita Cessna Learning Center. He has held a number of other positions of increasing responsibility at the Center including Program Manager for the Cessna Citation Mustang training program as well as a Ground and Simulator instructor.

He served in the active duty United States Marines for 9 years. Allender is a highly experienced AV-8B Harrier and A-6E Intruder pilot and continues to serve in the Marine reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel.

“We are pleased to give Kelly this well-deserved promotion. His leadership experience, in-depth knowledge of FlightSafety’s training programs and commitment to provide our Customers with the highest quality training and excellent service, made him an ideal choice for this important role.” said Rich High, Manager, Wichita Cessna Learning Center.

Kelly Allender

Kelly graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and holds a multiengine ATP with type-ratings in the Boeing 747-400, Cessna Citation Jet, and the Cessna Citation Mustang aircraft.

FlightSafety offers training for seventeen Cessna and Cessna Citation aircraft models in Wichita using a fleet of 20 simulators and advanced flight training devices.

In Dallas/Fort Worth, Paul Kuchta has been promoted to Assistant Manager of the company’s Learning Center located at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Texas. He will assume responsibility for the Center’s aircraft maintenance technician training programs as well as other managerial duties.

“Paul’s experience in maintenance training and courseware development, and his ability to effectively manage people and programs, will help us to respond to the growing need for high quality, comprehensive aircraft maintenance training,” said Daniel MacLellan, Manager, Dallas/Fort Worth Learning Center.

Paul Kuchta

Paul began his career with FlightSafety in 1998 as a Technical Analyst. He was promoted to Maintenance Instructor and was named to his most recent position of Director of Maintenance Training in 2001.

He served in the United States Air Force for 21 years and was assigned to a number of technical, training and supervisory roles throughout the United States and elsewhere around the world. While in the Air Force, he developed aircraft maintenance training curriculums, managed numerous Aircraft Crew Chiefs and Maintenance Technicians and served as Superintendant of a Maintenance Operations Center with responsibility for coordinating and tracking the maintenance of a large fleet of F-15 aircraft.

Paul studied Systems Maintenance Technology at the USAF Community College and leadership at the Noncommissioned Officer Academy. He holds an Airframe & Powerplant Certificate and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

FlightSafety’s Dallas/Fort Worth Learning Center offers pilot, maintenance technician and emergency evacuation training for business and regional aircraft built by ATR, Bombardier, Dassault, Embraer and Gulfstream.
