SkyFest Returns To Arlington Muni Airport August 18th

One Of Snohomish County’s Summer Highlights!

The Arlington SkyFest has a history going back to 1969 when it was just a little fly-in, but it has grown into one of the West Coast’s favorite sport aviation events and draws as many as 55,000 spectators annually. This year’s event will be held from 1:00 pm – 10:25 pm, on Saturday August 16, on the west side of Arlington Municipal Airport (KAWO) in Arlington, Washington.

The event consists of afternoon attractions that include military vehicle demonstrations, remote-control tank demos, a drone cage, simulators, classic cars, a large kids’ recreation area, movie screenings, and more. Families can enjoy the drive-in/tailgate-style format where each vehicle parks in a dedicated spot for the entire day.

The air show in the evening gets rolling at about 6:00 pm and features an exciting lineup of performers including Renny Price in the SU-29, the Dauntless Skydiving Team, REDFOX Airshows with Yuichi Takagi, and Kyle Fowler in the Long EZ.

There will also be rides available on board the Commemorative Air Force’s B-17 Sentimental Journey and B-25 Maid in the Shade.

The show then transitions into a brand new Laser Light show at 9:00 pm, the Drone Spectacular at 9:15 pm, and the full-on Night Pyro Airshow around 9:45 pm.

Going beyond the spectacular aerial demonstrations, the event promotes and supports youth STEM education and nonprofits across Snohomish County. Each ticket represents an investment not just in aviation but also in the general community.

Tickets range from $45 - $85 per vehicle, up to 8 passengers, and are available online only. There will be NO walkup tickets at the gate.
