Night Flight Concepts Unveils New Solutions At Heli-Expo

NVG And Laser Defense 'Transform Night Operations'

At HAI's Heli-Expo 2012, Night Flight Concepts (NFC) says it will showcase new night vision solution options that deliver greater safety and performance. NFC’s new cost-effective NVG Solution Bundles for NVG sustainment and Laser Armor Laser Defense solutions for civil operators both promise to transform night operations.

“As a leader in NVG maintenance, planning, acquisition, and training, we are very committed to product and service innovation,” explains Night Flight Concepts president, Adam Aldous. “Our intent is to help aviation organizations worldwide realize greater results and achieve operational goals through these new night vision solutions.”

NFC’s new Night Vision Goggle (NVG) Maintenance Solution Bundles are value-added NVG solutions that optimize sustainment with an integrated program of market-leading, cost-effective NVG products and services. Customized to support client needs, the NFC NVG Solution Bundles help organizations achieve airworthiness, compliance and enhanced performance.

Solution Bundles feature NFC’s “No-Worry” NVG extended warranty program; high-quality, cost-sensitive 180-day NVG inspections; and the NVIS Lighting Inspection Program. In response to the FAA mandated 24-month NVIS inspection requirement, NFC offers the Hoffman Engineering LM-33-550 Lighting Conformity Toolkit, the “torque-wrench” of the NVG lighting inspection industry. Bundles also include the FAA-approved, NVIO Night Vision Goggle (NVG) Computer-Based Training (CBT) – enabling Internet-based Just-In-Time training and maintenance performance support. NVG Maintenance Solution Bundling customers receive preferred pricing on many of the products and services offered by NFC, the premier FAA Approved NVG Part 145 Repair Station.

NFC will also feature, Laser Armor, which are new optical systems for laser defense to help civil, government and industry aviation organizations defend against laser attacks. Laser Armor delivers a complete platform of products and services for civil aviation laser defense that improve operational safety and performance. Laser Armor solutions complement existing flight programs and increase laser strike readiness and prevent possible damage to personnel and equipment in night operations. The solution suite includes Laser Armor Light Interference Filter (or LIF), Laser Armor Aviator Glasses and Laser Armor Laser Defense Training.
