Fort Lauderdale Firm Acquires Arizona MRO Facility

AM Repair Will Now Be Known As GA Telesis Component Repair Group (CRG) Southwest

GA Telesis, LLC announced Tuesday the conclusion of its acquisition of AM Trading, Inc. and AM Repair, Inc., a Tucson, AZ-based component maintenance, repair and overhaul facility.

AMT is located at Tucson International Airport in a 65,000 square-foot facility. The company supports the repair and manufacture of components for Bombardier, Airbus, Boeing, Douglas and Embraer -- including hydraulics, waste systems, fire detection, oxygen systems, avionics, NDT, and composites.

AMT will be re-branded as GA Telesis Component Repair Group Southwest in the coming months ,and will be integrated into the GA Telesis global commercial aerospace support strategy. This newest member of the GAT aviation-support group will be headed by current AM Repair general manager and co-founder Micah Chapman.

"We are excited to become a part of the GA Telesis family. The synergies of our companies will strengthen support programs, reduce turn-around-times and ultimately lead to cost savings for the airlines," said Chapman.

"We have continually expressed our intention to provide a multi-pronged approach to supporting our customers," added GA Telesis President and CEO Abdol Moabery.

GA Telesis has sales, distribution and MRO facilities throughout the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Singapore. The company specializes in commercial aircraft and jet engine leasing, as well as maintaining one of the world's largest replacement aerospace component inventory networks.
