ANN Is Hiring! Videographers Needed For Airborne Unlimited Program Staff

Videographer/Reporters Needed For Airborne Unlimited Program Expansion

Aero-News and Airborne are expanding--and innovating! And we're seeking additional on-air video journalist(s) to assist us with our Feature and Scheduled programming.

These are autonomous `one man/woman band` positions where you must be as comfortable behind the camera as in front of it.

You will be responsible for presenting aviation/aerospace related news stories on camera while often handling all audio, video and lighting as well as editing the final product.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced videographer and editor, with prior on-air experience. Being knowledgeable of the Aviation Industry is highly recommended (and will need to be learned, regardless).

You must be highly proficient in Final Cut Pro as well as Quicktime and Compressor. Must have some familiarity with compression settings and uploading videos to the web.

Must be able to work quickly and under deadline. Must be comfortable operating and reading from a teleprompter and able to aid in script preparation. Must have knowledge of basic lighting set ups.

Familiarity with Canon HD and 4K cameras are a plus. Relocation may not be necessary, but successful applicant must be able to travel several times per year for airshows, tradeshows, conventions, significant breaking news locations, and other aviation events.

These events will often require walking and strenuous activity, so you must be comfortable lifting and carrying your own equipment.

You will be responsible for shooting footage of airshows, aircraft, aviation/aerospace equipment, as well as interviews for our international video programming roster. This gig can be a LOT of work. but it also a fascinating/lasting position, with a number of other personnel in this department, enjoying 5-7 years with this company.

Please respond with resume, demo reel, and references...
