Cutter Aviation Meridian Work To Be Completed At Vero Beach Avionics

Florida Facility Named  East Coast G950 Installation Center

Arizona-based Cutter Aviation has appointed Vero Beach Avionics, a leading provider of avionics installations and maintenance services on Piper aircraft, as its East Coast installation center for the Garmin G950 avionics suite for the Piper Meridian. Cutter company officials say this partnership will help accommodate the increased demand for the G950 all-glass avionics retrofit solution.

“We chose Vero Beach Avionics based on their considerable expertise in completing complex avionics installations on Meridian aircraft," said Will Cutter, President of Cutter. "Plus, their being located in Florida helps accommodate Meridian owners based in the Eastern US.”

“We’re excited to partner with Cutter Aviation on installing this retrofit solution”, said Vero Beech Avionics President Rick Peavley. “The G950 avionics system is, clearly, the premier avionics upgrade package for the older model Piper Meridians equipped with Meggitt and Avidyne EFIS systems.”

Cutter developed the G950 STC for the Piper Meridian in partnership with Garmin International in early 2013. The G950 integrates all primary flight, navigation, communication, terrain, traffic, surveillance, weather, and engine sensor data on high-definition LCDs.
