Gulfstream to Expand Customer Support with Dallas Overhaul Facility

New Center to Focus on Brakes, Wheels, and Landing Gear Repair Before 2Q 2023

Gulfstream has announced an expansion to its operations in North America, with a new component repair and overhaul facility planned in Fort Worth, Texas.

The 100,000 square-foot facility will start out with a focus on wheels, brakes, and landing gear systems when it begins service in the 1st half of 2023.

Gulfstream anticipates its mission to expand over time as the brand's domestic fleet continues to grow. Eventually the overhaul facility will expand its repair targets to include aircraft structures, avionics, and other components.

“The Dallas-Fort Worth area is a prime location for our new component overhaul and repair facility,” said Derek Zimmerman, president, Gulfstream Customer Support.

The Dallas area is thick with company operations, like the recent opening of a new service center by Gulfstream Customer Support. The center features more than 162,000 square feet of repair and overhaul space at Fort Worth Alliance Airport, with another company facility based out of Dallas Love Field.

That location provides some customer support as well, in addition to a line of Gulfstream G280 and G600 completions.

“Its close proximity to the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport adds a convenient location adjacent to one of the United States’ largest air cargo operations, allowing us to move these components and parts quickly and efficiently to customers around the country. This facility also complements our service center at Fort Worth Alliance Airport and Gulfstream’s completions and Customer Support service operations at Dallas Love Field Airport to create even more accessibility and options for our customers.”
