JETTECH Receives EASA Approvals For STC’d Garmin GTN Installs

Covers Citation 500/501/550/S550/550B/560 & CJ Fleet

JETTECH, a developer of aftermarket aircraft solutions, announced today it has received EASA approvals for several of its FAA approved STCs for Garmin touchscreen installations on legacy Citation and CJ aircraft. The EASA approvals for the Citation 500, 501, 550, S550, 551, 560, 560XL and 560XLS  are for a litany of single or dual Garmin GTN 650/750 installs, GMA 35 audio panel, GTX 33EX/GTX 3000ES, GWX 70 Weather Radar, GAD 43 Roll Steer with Auto Slew features and more.

For Citation Bravo, Ultra, Encore and Excel aircraft with Primus 1000 Autopilot, JETTECH has received EASA approval for its STC'd touchscreen Garmin GTN 650/750 GPS/NAV/COM installation with VNAV capability. The engineered solution is for an autopilot coupled LPV WAAS approach which includes a voice-activated intercom and ADS-B in and out.

In addition, JETTECH received EASA approvals for its STC'd Citation Jet (CJ) fleet variants to include the Garman dual GTN 650/750 touchscreen displays and  GPS/NAV/COM installation on Cessna CJ models 525,525A,525B equipped with Rockwell Collins ProLine 21 and FGC-3000 Digital Flight Control System. The JETTECH retrofit solution now covers all CJ models including CJ1/CJ1+/CJ2/CJ2+ and CJ3 aircraft

According to Rob Irwin, founder and member/manager of JETTECH, increased interest in Europe for its STC installations led to seeking EASA approvals. He said the products are available through JETTECH approved Garmin dealers.

Working with Garmin, JETTECH has engineered various glass-panel aftermarket STC’d solutions, with WAAS approvals, to include installs of the G700 Txi, single or dual Garmin GTN 650/750, GMA 35 Audio panel, GTX 33ES/GTX 3000ES and GWX 70 Weather Radar.

JETTECH is unveiling its G700 TXi panel installation on a Citation II at the Garmin NBAA-BACE static display, SD 20, located at the Orlando Executive Airport. The STC for this installation is pending.
