Skies Over Oshkosh To Be Filled With Hartzell Propeller Performers

Participation Ranges From Skydivers To Aerobatics

Hundreds of thousands of aviation enthusiasts attending EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014 who cast their vision skyward will be able to see a number of aerial performances associated with Hartzell Propeller.

Paul McCowan’s Parachute Team will jump from the skies on the first day of the show on Monday, July 28 flying a large Hartzell Propeller flag high above the throngs of aviators making the pilgrimage to America’s biggest aircraft show.

In addition, Hartzell Propeller continues to partner with three of the world’s greatest aerobatic performers – aviation superstars Sean D. Tucker, Michael Goulian, and Matt Chapman – who will all be flying exciting exhibitions at Oshkosh.

“As a company of aviation fans, Hartzell Propeller appreciates the opportunity to be able to help launch some of the most exhilarating aerial performances over Wittman Regional Airport for AirVenture 2014,” said Hartzell Propeller President Joe Brown. He is on the board of the Experimental Aircraft Association, which sponsors the Oshkosh airshow.

Hartzell Propeller will be displaying all of its latest composite technology props at its new Main Aircraft Display 296-297 exhibit between Hangar A and the food court. Included in the exhibit will be Hartzell’s newly certificated five-bladed swept prop for the TBM 700/850. Also on display will be the high performance Bantam series three-blade propeller for diesel-powered Cessna Skyhawk aircraft and the two-bladed swept-tip Trailblazer prop for experimental aircraft and a number of certificated aircraft models.

All three aerobatic performers will be flying with Hartzell’s Claw propeller. Tucker will perform Tuesday and Thursday during the show, held from July 28 through Aug. 3. He will be piloting his Oracle Challenger III. He is chair of the EAA Young Eagles program.

Goulian’s Extra 330SC will be on display at Hartzell’s booth between the A Hangar and the food court on Monday. He will be signing autographs at Hartzell’s booth on Thursday from 10 to 10:45 am. And Goulian will perform aerobatic shows on Wednesday and Saturday in his Eagle 580.

Chapman will fly his performances on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the show in his Eagle 580. He began flying aerobatics in 1984, and his achievements include the Hilliard Trophy, the International Aerobatic Club Championship, and the Fond du Lac Cup.
