Acron Aviation Partners With Flightrule Aviation Services

Providing Type Ratings For IndiGo Pilot Cadet Program Grads

Acron Aviation, provider of aviation solutions worldwide, announced it has finalized an agreement with Indian flight training provider Flightrule Aviation Services to train recently-graduated cadets from the Flightrule-IndiGo Pilot Cadet Program.

Acron will provide Type Ratings to the cadet graduates under the three-year agreement. The type ratings are tailored to the training requirements of IndiGo to ensure all new pilots meet the standards of the Indian airline according to fleet size.

The training will be delivered to the New Zealand-based cadets at its state-of-the-art London Training Center near Gatwick Airport (IATA: LGW, ICAO: EGKK).

Dave Coward, GM & VP of Training Services for Acron Aviation said, “This multi-year agreement with one of India’s leading pilot training organizations supports our company vision, to become the unconventional top-tier partner of choice for customers across the globe.

“We welcome Flightrule’s next generation of IndiGo pilots to our state-of-the-art training facility and are committed to ensuring their seamless transition to the flight deck.”

Capt. Rahul Monga, CEO of Flightrule, in commenting on the partnership, explained, “With over thirty years of experience in the aviation industry, we sought a partner that could provide tailored, flexible, and trusted programs.

“Acron Aviation, with its rich history in pilot training, excels in all these areas. We look forward to having them alongside us on this journey as we continue to address the ongoing pilot shortage, which is a core part of our company ethos.”

Acron provides a full range of pilot training using its simulators deployed in its training centers in London and Bangkok including Type Ratings for the Boeing 737NG, Airbus A321/330, and the ATR 72-500/600 aircraft.
