Bombardier Announces Major Jet Order for Anonymous Customer

50 Jets, Innovative Maintenance Partnership and no More Surprises

Bombardier has taken a bold step forward in the business aviation sector, securing a massive order for 50 of their Challenger and Global business jets from an undisclosed customer. Netjets? No, they’ve already announced their massive order.

Amazon? They’re always expanding. We’ll have to wait and see. The order of the Challenger 3500 and the Ultra-long range Global 7500, is one of the largest in Bombardier history. Aside from the estimated $4 billion deal, there is a maintenance partnership that is sparking interest, which could change the way owners/ operators experience the business side of aviation. The first of its kind maintenance partnership could give pilots the peace of mind that they need at the flight levels. Bombardier is offering predictive maintenance, on-site maintenance teams and advanced data analytics. Essentially saying, they’re going to notice maintenance issues before they happen, no more delays, pilots won’t have to troubleshoot issues as they’re happening and your go home day will be your go home day even though we might love to get stuck in Hawaii.

For Bombardier, this deal is more than a milestone. By pairing the jets with intelligent, long-term support, the company is positioning itself as not just a manufacturer, but a lifetime aviation partner. As for pilots, we all dislike maintenance delays, angry passengers, dealing with issues in a time crunch but that's the job as we know it. This evolution could be a productive and welcomed addition. Aviation is all about safety and mitigating risks to the fullest potential, which is exactly what Bombardier is doing. With this initiative, it goes to show Bombardier's dedication to enhance the customer experience and relationship beyond the point of sale. “This significant order underscores the competitive advantage Bombardier’s full scope of products and services brings to customers throughout the entire aircraft lifecycle, from design to delivery, then throughout the in-service journey”
