Dr. John B. “Jack” Mowell has been elected as Chairman of the Board for Aspen Avionics.  Dr. Mowell, a Tallahassee, FL resident, is a diversified business executive in the fields of aviation, the life sciences and oil and gas. He became an investor in and joined the Aspen board of directors on October 11, 2012.

“We are thrilled for Jack to lead our distinguished group of investors. His in-depth aviation experience coupled with his visionary business acumen will be invaluable as Aspen continues to grow,” said John Uczekaj, President and CEO, Aspen Avionics.

“I recognized early on that Aspen possessed all of the essential characteristics necessary for significant long term growth in general and business aviation.
