Travelpro to Debut New Pilot Luggage Collection

Travelpro Pilot Collection Designed for Demands of Airline Pilot Travel

Travelpro, renowned for its pioneering Rollaboard suitcase, has once again set the bar high in the travel gear industry with the launch of its Travelpro Pilot collection. This latest offering, designed exclusively for airline pilots, sets a new standard in the realm of professional-grade luggage with its unmatched durability and performance.

Unveiled in Boca Raton, Florida, this two-piece series is notably lighter, by up to 3 pounds, than its counterparts, making it the lightest professional-grade luggage available on the market.

The Travelpro Pilot collection, which includes the Seven3 Carry-On Rollaboard and the Expandable Carry-On Rollaboard with Pockets, showcases Travelpro's commitment to innovation and quality. Crafted with the input of seasoned pilots who provided invaluable feedback during the design phase, these suitcases are tailored to meet the unique demands of the aviation professionals. The durability is unparalleled, thanks to the ballistic nylon fabric treated with DuraGuard coating for stain and abrasion resistance. Additionally, the collection boasts a patented PowerScope aluminum extension handle, equipped with anti-crush technology to prevent denting, and high-quality inline skate wheels for smooth maneuverability.

Rob Cooper, CEO of Travelpro, highlighted the importance of leveraging the company's rich heritage and deep-rooted connections within the aviation community to bring the Pilot™ collection to life. He emphasized the collection's attention to detail, from the German-engineered speed-release magnetic strap for quick bag attachment to the thoughtful inclusion of versions without side pockets to fit different aircraft storage spaces.

The interior design of the luggage is equally impressive, featuring an ECOFAB lining, an expandable zipper for added packing space, and organized compartments for efficient packing. To further aid travelers, the luggage comes with two shoe bags and a laundry bag, promoting hygiene and order, and a monogram patch for easy identification.

The company has also announced a $15,000 scholarship donation to support organizations such as the National Gay Pilots Association and Women in Aviation International, coinciding with the celebration of World Pilots' Day in April.

The Travelpro Pilot Collection, which carries a 5-Year Limited Warranty, is slated for release this spring. It will be available through Aviation.Travelpro.com and select crew specialty stores, with prices ranging between $329 and $349.
