Southeast Aerospace Launches Cockpit Connectivity Controller

Simplifies In-Flight Management of Gogo Galileo or Avance Systems

Southeast Aerospace announced the introduction of a new Connectivity Cockpit Controller that simplifies connectivity management for aircraft equipped with Gogo Galileo and/or Avance systems.

The controller consists of a Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics Flex, a new first-of-its-kind unit that is customizable to meet the needs of any application.

The new control unit was developed in partnership with Mid-Continent and enhances pilot awareness as it simplifies operations. It incorporates a custom software that controls systems including Wi-Fi, Galileo data, and Air-to-Ground communication. It also is able to display the status of the connectivity system in the cockpit.

Luke Gomoll, Aircraft Modification Sales Representative at Southeast Aerospace said, "We’re excited to offer a solution that equips pilots and technicians with a controller that not only provides several system control functions but gives operational status and health of the multi-bearing internet systems on the aircraft. The Cockpit Controller represents a step forward in providing more control, clearer status updates, and a smoother in-flight experience for everyone involved.”

The controller provides pilots a simple and cost-effective way to manage the aircraft’s connectivity systems by bringing all essential functions together in one device. It keeps pilots informed and operations running smoothly during the flight.

The Connectivity Cockpit Controller will initially be certified for installation on Hawker models under Southeast’s STC, but will also be available for all aircraft models and offering a flexible and scalable solution for a wide range of operators.
