The North Texas Business Aviation Association (NTBAA), has announced that its 4th annual Safety Show Down event will expand to two educational days on August 31st and September 1st and will include a special golf and networking event on the evening of the 31st. Once again, leading industry presenters and business aviation vendors and manufacturers will come together at the Addison Conference Center to provide a full curriculum of safety and leadership subjects to aviation professionals in North Texas and surrounding states.

The 2016 NTBAA Safety Show Down will include three general sessions presented by well-known industry experts, the Honorable Robert Sumwalt with the NTSB, Peter V. Agur, Jr. with The VanAllen Group, and Scott Moore with Moore Life Leadership. This year’s expanded line-up of breakout sessions will include presentations from Kent Jackson and Kali Hague from Jackson and Wade LLC, Dan Boedigheimer, PhD, from Advanced Aircrew Academy, T. James Buchanan from NBAA’s CAM Governing Board, Don Chupp from Fireside Partners, Guy Gribble from International Flight Resources, John Detloff from Air Culinaire Worldwide, Erica Sandschulte from Rockwell Collins, Sunshine McCarthy from Baldwin Aviation, Craig Spamer from Omnia Aerospace, Laura Everington from Universal Weather and Aviation, and Eric Rodriguez, Program Manager for US Customs and Border Protection.

“I am very proud of the two-day program we have put together this year and want to thank all of the NTBAA volunteers that helped make it a reality as well as the talented speakers that continue to support us in this endeavor,” commented Jacque Walker, President of NTBAA.  “We are so excited to bring this type of educational event to the local business aviation community and look forward to a record number of attendees this year,” added Ms. Walker.

In addition to more than a dozen educational sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about various aviation products and services from Show Down exhibitors and see numerous aircraft on static display at Addison Airport, conveniently located across the street from the conference center. The two-day program will begin with check-in and lunch served at 12 noon on August 31st, and the first general session will begin at 1:00 PM. The first day will wrap-up in Addison at 4:30 PM and then participants in the special golf evening event will head to Topgolf for an evening of networking, food, fun and of course, golf. Day two of the Show Down will begin with a 7:00 AM breakfast, followed by a full day of presentations, networking, and exhibits that will conclude at 5:00 PM.
