The Ultimate Adventurer's Sport Plane...

The MVP Aero multipurpose light sport airplane was first introduced at EAA AirVenture 2014. While at the U.S. Sport Aviation Expo 2016, ANN News Editor, Tom Patton, met with Steve Pugh, who is the CEO of MVP Aero, to get an update on the project. This is the airplane that can operate off land, water, and snow. And as if this is not enough, it can also be turned into a camping unit.

Pugh says the project is estimated to be about three years from production. When Tom asked about how the MVP Aero differs from other amphibious aircraft on display at the Expo, Pugh points out that it is being designed to be the ultimate utility and recreational aircraft.

As the video progresses you’ll see an engineering mockup demonstrating such features as converting the aircraft into a fishing boat, a camper including a tent covering, and it’s even designed with mounting points to support a hammock.
