Connecticut AG Asks For Review Of Court Of Appeals
Decision
Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal filed a formal
petition Tuesday seeking a review by the U.S. Supreme Court of a
Court of Appeals ruling allowing flight path changes over the
state. The new routes will send more large aircraft over the
southwestern part of Connecticut.

Rolls-Royce announced Tuesday it has signed a $171 million
contract with Pratt & Whitney to supply the Rolls-Royce

the third lot of Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP).
LSA Begins Training At India's Largest Flight School
Flight Design announced Wednesday that Carver Aviation, which
claims to be the biggest Flight School in India, has registered the
first two Flight Design CTLS Light-Sport Aircraft in India. Flight
Design may now deliver the LSA aircraft to the emerging Indian

InFO Issued On What May Be Stowed In Airliner Seat Pockets
The FAA has issued an "Information for Operators" (InFO) in an
effort to eliminate some confusion about what items passengers may
or may not stow in the seat back pockets in airliners. The FAA says
the intent of the carry-on baggage regulation is to prevent
carry-on items from slowing an emergency evacuation.
Embraer, General Electric, and Amyris announced the signing,

A pattern produced on the radar scope by ground returns which
may degrade other radar returns in the affected area. The effect of
ground clutter is minimized by the use of moving target indicator
(MTI) circuits in the radar equipment resulting in a radar
presentation which displays only targets which are in motion.
