How Do You Misplace A Dog That Walks Like A Person?

Airline Says It Will Find The Answer

A dog known for her ability to walk on two legs spent several hours Wednesday working her way through the baggage routing network at American Airlines.

The incident started when Faith, who was born without use of her front legs, was checked in for the flight from Oklahoma City to Orlando, FL by owner Jude Stringfellow. When Stringfellow arrived in Florida, she went to retrieve her dog... only to be told Faith was missing.

"I was upset because they wouldn't give me any solid information," Stringfellow told San Antonio, TX television station WOIA-4. "When you lose a pet, it's over you can't bring it back."

Fortunately, after two hours of anxious waiting, the airline was able to track Faith down. As it turns out, she had been placed on the wrong flight to Orlando.

American Airlines admitted the incident was their mistake, and a spokesperson said the airline will investigate the matter. But all that matters to Stringfellow -- and Faith -- is the two were reunited.
